Description:
Nememiah Wimble was one of Northcote's early residents. Wimble was a senior member of the Colonial Civil Service and appears to have arrived in Northcote in the early 1850s. He lived in a small stone house at around 220 High Street before moving to a more substantial mansion, "St Neot's" on Rucker's Hill at 14 Bastings Street, Northcote.
